We have provided architectural design services for many property developers across the country including AK Planning, RH Raggett Homes, T&I Fitouts and ODDA Architects. Typical schemes range from 1-50 dwellings and all require assessment following the guidance from ProPG planning guidance and BS 8233 which provides guidance for the control of noise in and around buildings.

In some cases the developments were close to busy roads and the planning authority required an assessment of noise ingress and amenity areas. We engaged closely with the planning authority to ensure our approach will be acceptable and we have often agreed to use publicly available noise data (noise maps) to help keep cost down. When required, we conduct a thorough risk assessment of the site by monitoring the noise over extended periods.
