Grand Hyatt - Acoustic Design
The largest Hyatt Hotels property in Asia-Pacific - 14 restaurants & bars, retail space, pools, eight event spaces, 1600 rooms.
Live outdoor events with high power speakers at the 8th floor podium imposed significant challenge for the acoustic design of adjacent guestroom façade.
Directional loudspeakers are employed together with façade upgrade to minimise noise impact to the guestrooms.
A floating floor system was specified below the roof top level to allow live events to take place.
