DART+ - Noise & Vibration Assessment
This rail improvement project will provide a sustainable, electrified, reliable and more frequent rail service, revolutionising capacity between Hazelhatch & Celbridge station and Dublin City Centre, whilst also increasing capacity and reducing journey times for non-electrified InterCity and Commuter services.The programme includes construction of several junctions, electrification of the line and additional tracks.
The EIAR will cover construction and operational phases and will be one of the most significant infrastructural projects over the coming years.
Initially the EIAR for this major infrastructural project requires a comprehensive noise and vibration monitoring programme. Enfonic’s unique expertise was deployed in site selection, residential engagement, data gathering and validation. Uniquely we undertook research on horizontal and vertical vibration propagation analysis to inform the EIAR.
