Logging is the ability to produce time-history data and this option is included as standard in all our Types 2250-L, 2250 and 2270 Sound Level Meters.
BZ7224 is the Logging software for Types 2250 and 2270 SLMs and with it your analyser becomes a versatile instrument for obtaining time histories (logging profiles). Logging Software allows you to select any of the available broadband parameters and log them at intervals from 1 s to 24 h. Additionally LAeq and/or LAF can be logged at a finer interval of 100ms.

During measurement, markers and annotations can be added to the profile. With Sound Recording Option BZ-7226 enabled, wav-recording can be used, such as to capture events.
Uses
- Environmental noise monitoring
- Complaint investigations
- Occupational health assessment
- Time history of vibration events
- Time history profiles for what-if scenario modelling
Features
- Logging of broadband parameters, statistics and spectra with two periods
- User-defined period 1s to 24h: user-selected data
- 100ms period: LAeq, LAF, LAS only
- Two profile displays: total measurement and zoomed time-window
- Markers and annotations on profile display
- Attachment of wave-recordings to profile
Comprehensive data collection
Collect a wealth of broadband, statistic and spectral data, giving you the details behind the numbers and allowing for very flexible post-processing.
Grasp the essence quickly
Supporting up to five user-defined markers that can be set automatically (using trigger conditions) or manually (on the touchscreen or using push buttons), it is easy during post-processing to locate noisy parts and unusual profile sections, and evaluate their significance.
Record sound events
With Signal Recording Option BZ-7226 enabled, wave-recordings of the measured noise can be added to the profile for documentation purposes, as well as subsequent event and source identification.
Freeze the display
At any time during the measurement you can 'freeze' the profile display, or move to an earlier section, allowing you to look at data in detail and add annotations while the measurement is still continuing.
